Get to know the Team behind NanoNap. This week, we sat down with Élodie HOVHANESSIAN, marketing intern!
Who are you and where do you come from?
I grew up in Paris metropolitan area. I’m a business school student passionate about singing and sustainable development!
What is your role at NanoNap?
I am a marketing intern. I’m mainly in charge of marketing and communication with another intern, but I also conduct market research. I write posts for our LinkedIn account, conduct several interviews with potential users and recently I created our first community of pilots!
When did you start at Nanonap and why did you choose this company?
I started in May! I’ve chosen NanoNap because I wanted to discover the startup world and contribute to the development of a company that cares about people’s well-being!
For you, what is Nanonap?
NanoNap is an innovative project aiming at creating a product that will help people be the best version of themselves! Besides improving their sleep, our users will have a 20% cognitive performance enhancement! I’m convinced that getting a good night sleep can totally change your day!
Do you enjoy the startup adventure?
I really like the work atmosphere in a startup! I have had a lot of autonomy in my work and my colleagues have trusted me, which I don’t think is the case in all companies! Moreover, everyone is so motivated and passionate about their project at Station F that it makes me want to give it my all!
Did the COVID-19 crisis have an impact on your internship?
Yes of course, I had to work remotely on the first month of my internship, which made me adopt new work habits. It was not easy at the beginning because it’s so strange working from home with people you’ve never met! But it’s a challenge that we all had to take up!
Do you already have trouble sleeping?
Yes, I often have trouble falling asleep. I guess it’s because it’s hard for me to turn off the screens before going to sleep … It’s also my alarm clock, after all! But I’m confident these issues will be solved by NanoNap headband!
What do you do to improve your sleep on a daily basis?
Before going to bed, I try to calm myself, sometimes using a meditation app, sometimes reading a book or just breathing calmly.
What do you want to tell next interns?
I would tell them to enjoy their adventure at NanoNap, and not be afraid to take initiatives and give their opinion. The team is very caring and communicates a lot with the interns.
