Get to know the Team behind NanoNap. This week, we sat down with Fabien KOUTCHEKIAN, one of the cofounders!
Who are you and where do you come from?
I am an ex-strategy consultant, ex-musician, triathlete and a writer. I studied engineering but also studied in Sciences Po.
What is your role at NanoNap?
I am the COO at NanoNap. I basically make sure operations are smooth. I am also the main point of contacts of our partners and potential clients. Besides this, I am taking care of NanoNap and I contribute to the building of the foundations of the company from managing people to finding financing to fuel our operations.
When did you start at Nanonap and why did you choose this company?
I started at NanoNap in March 2020. I met Alexandre, my cofounder, and was thrilled about his idea. We are helping people make the best out of their sleep. Sleep is key for our health, for our development. It means a lot for me to be part of a company that has such a calling.
For you, what is Nanonap?
NanoNap understood that people cannot always adapt the pace of their life to get the best sleep. Instead, we took the best to improve the performance of people whatever the time they can get into their bed. Today, technology can help us enjoy better lives. NanoNap is leveraging deep technology to make sure we are the best version of ourselves.
Have you ever worked in a startup? Do you enjoy the startup adventure?
It is the first time for me and I love it. Main difference lies in the choice of doing only impacting things even if they do not bring you visibility.
What is the climate at Nanonap?
Our management at NanoNap is really warm and directed towards making people progress. Employees well-being is also at the heart of our concerns that is why they can take breaks and naps whenever needed. But I am aware that it’s important for larger companies too.
Did the COVID-19 crisis have an impact on your work?
Despite increased components delivery time… not really. We are very open to remote working and are encouraging our employees to do it if it is simpler and more efficient.
Do you already have trouble sleeping?
I used to be very stressed at my previous job which led to some sleep troubles. That is part of the reason I joined NanoNap.
What do you do to improve your sleep on a daily basis?
I am exercising a lot and I am trying to switch off screens way before going to sleep.
For you, what is the future of Nanonap?
NanoNap will offer a performance boost to its clients across the globe. Helping them making the best out of their sleep, reduced or not.
